Parents/Families – If you need care, please put your child on the wait list at MilitaryChildCare.com. If you have any questions, please feel free to call at 275-PLAY (7529) or stop by the School Age Annex!
The School Age Care Program Annex (SAC) is located at Building 6459, next to the Child Development Center, provides care for children ages 5-12. Kindergarten before and after school care is also provided at the SAC. We offer diverse activities from our affiliated organizations, Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) and 4-H (Head, Heart, Hands, and Health) to meet the needs and interests of Edward’s AFB youth. The school-age program offers childcare and transportation before school and after school. A USDA approved breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack are provided daily during summer camp weeks/winter break/spring break and days the youth do not have school. The SAC Annex is equipped with a variety of activity rooms, playgrounds and an outdoor basketball court. The School-Age Program has been accredited by the Council on Accreditation (COA). This national recognition shows our commitment to quality and continuous program improvement. The philosophy of the School-Age Program is based on the belief that all children are strong, powerful and competent individuals who are constantly learning and growing. The mission of the program is to provide a stimulating environment where children can explore, develop and learn at their own pace. Additionally, it is to provide a child-centered program in a warm, secure environment with love and good physical care. Each child has unique abilities that will be recognized and nurtured.
